The Association of Renewable Energy Agencies of States has given the reward to Tripura’s Power Minister Jishnu Debbarma on Thursday, September 01 for different achievements of Tripura Renewable Energy Development Agency (TREDA).

The most prestigious reward was that TREDA became the Best Performing State Nodal Agency in Northeastern Region.

Deputy Chief Minister Jishnu Debbarma wrote on Facebook that Tripura Renewable Energy Development Agency (TREDA) is awarded for being the Best Performing State Nodal Agency of Northeast under his Department.
He congratulated Tripura for the achievement.
Further, he said that TREDA has implemented several projects in the remotest corners of the state under “Grameen Bazaar Scheme”.

These projects lighted up village markets and eased doing business in the remote areas, and also helped in providing drinking water through solar irrigation pumps, solar pumps, bio gas, solar microgrids, 3 lacs solar study lamps to school students, etc.
