The North-eastern State of Tripura has been awarded Bhumi Samman Platinum Award 2023 for overall achievement in 6 areas of Digital India Land Records Modernization Programme.
Moreover, 7 districts of the state were also awarded in this program. President of India Draupadi Murmu gave away the award 2023 to the revenue department of the state government and 7 districts of the state in a function at the Plenary Hall of Vigyan Bhavan, New Delhi on Tuesday.
Department of Revenue’s Principal Secretary Puneet Agarwal and Director of Department of Land Reforms and Land Settlement Ratnajit Debbarma received the award on behalf of Tripura.
The 7 districts of the state which have received this award are West Tripura District, Khowai District, Dhalai District, Unakoti District, Gomati District, Sepahijala District, and South Tripura District.
On behalf of 7 districts, West Tripura District Magistrate and Collector Debapriya Bardhan, Khowai District’s District Magistrate and Collector Dilip Kumar Chakma, Dhalai District’s District Magistrate and Collector Siddharth Shiva Jaiswal, Unakoti District’s District Magistrate and Collector Tarit Kanti Chakma, Gomati District’s District Magistrate and Collector Govekar Mayur Ratilal and South Tripura District’s District Magistrate and Collector Saju Bahid A received the award.
The Director of Land Reforms and Land Settlement Department Ratnajit Debbarma accepted the award on behalf of Sepahijala District’s District Magistrate and Collector Vishal Kumar.
