Chief Minister Manik Saha visited the national capital on Saturday for the first time after taking oath as CM for the second term.
Tripura Chief Minister Professor Dr. Manik Saha met President Droupadi Murmu and various senior BJP leaders.
He met the BJP president JP Nadda, Home Minister Amit Shah, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman and Defence minister Rajnath Singh on Saturday.
CM Saha tweeted that the home minister conveyed his warm regards to everyone in Tripura and assured all possible support for development in the state.
Home Minister Shah also tweeted soon after he met Saha. He wrote, “Met Tripura chief minister Manik Saha Ji. Congratulated him on taking up his second term in office. May the new government of Tripura achieve every success in its efforts to push new boundaries of growth, development and prosperity for the state under Prime Minister @narendramodi Ji’s leadership”
Notably, Dr. Saha was sworn in as chief minister of Tripura on March 8, which was attended by PM Modi, the Home Minister and Nadda.
