Tripura NSUI holds protest demanding cancellation of exams.

NSUI Tripura Vice President Samrat Roy along with other members held a protest in front of Gandhi Statue, Agartala demanding cancellation of exams amid Corona crisis.

NSUI Vice President also wrote a letter to Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb on Saturday.

Samrat Roy in his letter wrote ” The Covid positivity rate of our state is increasing day by day which is an issue of high concern. The 2nd wave of Covid-19 has caused extreme death in the rural and semi urban areas of our country which would see further deterioration due to on set of monsoon. We request your humble authority to kindly ensure that any such decision is taken while considering the crisis which has befallen on the students of Tripura”.

He also added “Today our Hon’ble PM has canceled the CBSE class XII Board Exam considering the risk the health of the students. So it is also our humble request to you to kindly cancel the TBSE Board Examination couriering the safety of our state students. Results of the students can be given on the basis of class X Board Examination result, class XI result and on practical marks (that has been already sent to the Board)”.

Later Police arrested him along with other members present there.
