Tripura to get MRI Machines, Mammography Units & AI-enabled Handheld X-ray machines from Prime Minister’s Fund.

Today, an MoU was signed between the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Govt of India and the Tripura Health Department for supply & operationalisation of:

✅ 48 AI-enabled Portable Handheld X-ray Machines
✅ 3 MRI (1.5T) Machines
✅ 3 Digital Mammography Tomosynthesis (DBT) Units

These will be installed at district hospitals in Dhalai, North & Gomati districts, significantly strengthening healthcare delivery in the state.
