Two ‘Pakistani militant operatives’ arrested in Agartala

Two suspected members of the Pakistani militant organization were arrested by Tripura police on Wednesday.

The police got information about Pakistani militants on Wednesday morning from confidential sources and started searching various areas.

Arrested two suspected Pakistani militants have been identified as Yakub Yazdanbax and Shaheen Mandal, one of whom is said to be from Iran.

The police searched them and recovered several fake Aadhaar cards and PAN cards along with a mobile phone.

On Wednesday morning, local residents received several pictures of Pakistani militant groups and other information on their mobile phones.

A police official said a case against him is being investigated vigorously. However, for the sake of the investigation, the police did not tell what confessions the arrested had given.Meanwhile, it is believed that the detainees have come to the state as spies of Pakistani militant organizations to carry out some major conspiracy.
