Pranab Sarkar, the new president of Tripura Football Association started moving forward with the goal of working for the development of Tripura’s football.
TFA is now in a new form under the leadership of Pranab Sarkar.
In a press conference on Thursday, the new president of TFA said that he wants to work with everyone above politics to take Tripura’s football forward.
TFA President Pranab Sarkar said that the game should be politics free. He added that besides making football more popular among the youth, the goal has been taken to reach more among tribal sections of Tripura.
He also said that initiatives will be taken so that people from all parts can come to the football ground and an overcrowded audience can be observed.
TFA President said that Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha, former Chief Minister and MP Biplab Kumar Deb have assured cooperation for the development of Tripura’s football.
He added that Union Minister Pratima Bhowmik provided financial assistance and State Sports Minister Sushanta Chowdhury is also cooperating with TFA all the time.
