World Cup Head to Head: India vs Pakistan

Asian giants India and Pakistan will meet in Manchester for a much-awaited clash in World Cup 2019 to write another chapter in the glorious sporting history of the 2 nations. While India are 6-0 ahead on the World Cup record, Pakistan will look to use their unpredictable status to repeat the heroics of their 2017 Champions Trophy final win.

But with the weather expected to interrupt the game, fans from both sides would be praying for a full match instead of a curtailed one.

The World Cup 2019 has already been infamous for having 3 matches washed out without a ball being bowled while another one between West Indies and South Africa just lasting for a mere 7.3 overs before rain intervened.

Notably, India’s World Cup 2019 match against New Zealand on Thursday was abandoned without a ball being bowled in Nottingham. There was constant drizzle throughout the duration of the match and on-field umpires had echoed their concerns over the wet patches at Trent Bridge which wasn’t covered entirely as well.
