10323 school teachers whose services have been terminated continued their protest.

They said their sit-in demonstration would continue until the Tripura government announced their direct employment.

The sacked teachers stage an indefinite sit-in demonstration under the banner of Joint Movement Committee.

The teachers formed a joint forum comprising three separate organizations Justice for 10323, Amra 10323 and All Tripura Ad Hoc Teachers’ Association – to protest in Agartala since morning.

The teachers staged their indefinite sit-in demonstration in front of City Centre, Agartala.

Notably, a total of 10,323 teachers were recruited by the then Left Front Government in Tripura in 2010

The agitation, which began outside the City Centre on December 7.
