1222 new Teachers to get posted before Durga Puja

Newly recruited 1222 graduate and post graduate teachers would be given postings before Durga puja, said Education Minister Ratan Lal Nath.

Out of total 1222 selected teachers, 1088 are graduate level while remaining 138 are post graduates. Posting would be given before the puja so that they could join in their respective places shortly after the festival.

Ratan Lal Nath said the department had sought a list of suitable candidates for 3706 (GT) and 556 (PGT) posts.

After conducting examination, Teacher Recruitment Board (TRB) had prepared a list of eligible candidates of 1222 for GTs and PGTs.

 Ratan Lal Nath said he had a meeting with District Education Officers and Inspectors of School at Pranja Bhavan . A teacher will have to adopt 20 students and he or she must take at least 25 class in a week.
