Cabinet confirms 2 more TSR Bns
The Council of Ministers today approved floating two Indian Reserve(IR) battalions of the Tripura State Rifles raising the number of TSR battalions from nine to eleven with the state’s disposal
For the first time, 10 percent posts of the total strength (2014) will be reserved for female aimed at increasing women representation in the state armed force.
“The recruitment drive will start very shortly as the MHA has already sanctioned Rs. 50 crore to raise two IR battalions. And, the selection process will be done on the basis of the new recruitment rule declared by the state government”, Law Minister Ratan Lal Nath told the media on Thursday.
out of Total 2014, 85% posts will be reserved for domicile while 15% posts will be meant for candidates from outside the state
