60th Civil Defence & Home Gurad Day observed at AD Nagar

The 60th Civil Defense and Home Guard Force Foundation Day-2022 was celebrated on Tuesday with due dignity in Tripura.

A program was organized at the Manoranjan Debbarma Memorial Ground in Arundhatinagar to celebrate this day.
Fire and Emergency Services Minister Ramprasad Pal, who was present as the chief guest, visited the parade and read the disaster preparedness pledge to all those present at the ground.

Volunteers of SDRF, Home Guard, Fire and Emergency Services Department and Civil Defense participated in the day’s parade.

He said that members of the Civil Defense and Home Guards are working sincerely to deal with any kind of calamity. The members and volunteers of these two forces are engaged in various tasks including maintaining general law and order, dealing with natural and man-made disasters, controlling vehicular traffic.
