CM Manik Saha inaugurates Sushason mela in Unakoti dist

The government is working on multifaceted schemes for the welfare of the people of all parts of the state. The government is providing access to government schemes and services with transparency.

Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha said this while inaugurating the Sushasan Mela in Prati Ghore Sushasan Campaign at Chantail High School premises in Kailashahar, Unakoti district on Tuesday.

He added that according to the promise, the allowance of social allowance recipients in the state has increased from 700 to 2000 rupees.
Various steps have been taken to improve the communication system, which will accelerate the overall development of the state.

He said that as a result of the initiative of the state government, the NF Railway Authority is upgrading the Agartala railway station.
He added that 12 long distance trains are running from the state and 6 national highways are under construction in the state.

Recently, the central government has sanctioned 10,222 crore rupees for 7 more national highways in the state.
The Chief Minister further said, “the government is working with utmost importance to make the rural women of the state self-reliant.
