Agamoni Utsav celebrated in Manu

The Information & Cultural Affairs department organized Agamoni Utsav on 6th October on the day of Mahalaya at Manughat Nat Mandir in Manu under Longtharai Valley sub division of Dhalai district.

The programme was inaugurated by MLA and Chairman of Manu block Advisory Committee Diba Chandra Hrangkhawl presence of TTAADC MDC Manu-Chailengta Sanjay Das.

The programme was presided over by (Retired) ex-Deputy Inspectorate of Schools (State), Chailengta Basudeb Das.

The MLA the programme lauded the initiative taken by the department. He suggested the department to initiate and local general public awareness to involve artiste, stakeholders and people in order to make this initiative a grand success in near future.

The MDC in the programme urged everyone to stay safe, healthy and in harmony on the eve of Durga Puja. The programme was observed with cultural programmes performed by local artistes of Chailengta, Manughat and other nearby areas.
