A Special General Body meeting (SGM) of the All India Football Federation (AIFF) was conducted on October 12, 2025 at the AIFF Football House, as per the directions of the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India vide its order dated September 19, 2025.

The SGM was attended by Ms Emilie Doms (Manager, Member Association Governance Service, FIFA), Mr Sonam Jigmi (Senior Manager, South Asian Unit, Member Association Division, AFC) and Mr Prince Rufus (FIFA Regional Office Development Manager, South Asia).

The general body of AIFF adopted the revised Constitution along with changes recommended by the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India. It was also placed on record by the AIFF that it has sought clarifications from the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India in relation to the application of Article 23.3 and Article 25.3 (c) and (d). The adoption of these two (2) articles remain subject to further directions of the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India.

AIFF adopted the revised constitution with twenty nine (29) permanent members voting in favour of the resolution.
