Bishalgarh, June 25: A sensational incident unfolded at the Bishalgarh railway station on Wednesday afternoon when an unidentified youth allegedly attempted to set fire to a compartment of a passenger train.

According to eyewitnesses, the youth was seen trying to ignite a fire inside the coach. The matter was immediately reported to the Government Railway Police (GRP) and Bishalgarh police. Acting swiftly, police personnel reached the spot and apprehended the accused before any major damage could occur.

Thanks to the timely intervention of the fire brigade and security personnel, a potential disaster was averted. However, the incident created tension and panic among passengers and onlookers at the station premises.
