Senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Biplab Kumar Dev claimed that in Tripura, BJP will get an absolute majority in the assembly elections because women voters have exercised their franchise more than men.
BJP has been working for the empowerment of women.
In Tripura, the BJP had decided to contest on 55 assembly seats and its ally IPFT fielded its candidates on six seats.
The votes will be counted on 2 March.
Former Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb visited the Tripurasundari temple at Udaipur under the Gomati district, while taking to Media he said, he is confident that the BJP to win with a massive majority of seats.
