President Droupadi Murmu confers prestigious ‘Sangeet Natak Akademi’ award to Tripuri folk artist Tarubala Debbarma at Vigyan Bhavan, New Delhi on February 23.

Tarubala Debbarma well knowned folk artist of Tripura, has been conferred with prestigious Sangeet Natak Akademi Award for the year 2020.

Debbarma has been awarded for her exceptional contribution in preserving and promoting Tripuri folk art forms and culture. President Droupadi Murmu handed over the award at Vigyan Bhavan, New Delhi on Thursday.
