The state government has been making continuous efforts to improve health services in Tripura.

Each Primary Health Center of the state is being converted into the Health and Wellness Center phase by phase.

Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha said this while inaugurating the newly constructed concrete building of Fatikroy Primary Health Center in Kumarghat subdivision on Tuesday.

Unkoti Zilla Parishad President Amlendu Das presided over the inauguration ceremony.
Dr. Radha Debbarma, the Director of Family Welfare and Disease Prevention Department gave the welcome speech.

Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha said that the state government is making efforts to improve the infrastructure of each Primary Health Center.

He said people should look at the cleanliness of the hospital by thinking of it as a temple. He added that good relationship between doctor and patient is important for good service.

He further said that the patient welfare association should also play a more active role.
He stated that currently, health services have improved a lot in the state.
