Tripura government has regularized 411 Post Graduate teachers on Tuesday who were recruited on fixed-pay basis.

The Director of Secondary Education Chandni Chandra issued a memorandum on Tuesday in which the government regularized the teachers working under the Directorate of Secondary Education as they completed five years of service.

The government order stated that the teachers who have completed 5 years of service were allowed for regular scale of pay in Level-10 of Tripura Pay Matrix, 2018 against PB-2 (Rs.5,700-24,000) and Grade Pay of Rs.4,200 plus other admissible monthly allowances.

The order said that the expenditure involved for this purpose is debitable to the Head of Account against which their fixed pay is being drawn at present.

The order further stated that the regular scale of pay has been granted and thus, the fixed pay posts held by the concerned Post-Graduate Teachers shall be converted into regular posts with regular scale of pay from the date of allowing the benefit.

The memorandum indicates that all the 411 regularized PGT teachers will get all the benefits from 13th September 2022.
