CM in Blood donation camp organized by TCS Officers Association

Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha inaugurated the Voluntary Blood Donation Camp organized by the Gazetted Officers Association at the Nursing Institute of IGM Hospital on Sunday.

He said, “Any donation is a great deed. However, blood donation has no alternative, as it is impossible to save people without blood. Therefore, blood donation is another name of life donation”

He added, “No donation can be greater than blood donation. A few days ago, blood shortage was observed in the state. Voluntary blood donation initiatives have already been taken in various government and non-governmental organizations of the state, starting from schools and offices”.

CM further said that Tripura can overcame the problem of blood shortage only through these blood donation camps.

He added that a sense of brotherhood and a spirit of doing something for society is being witnessed in Tripura. CM Saha also said that Gazetted Officers Organization is working for the society in various ways.

The Chief Minister congratulated and wished all those who donated blood in this blood donation camp.
