CM inaugurates Cardio Care Unit at Dhalai Dist Hospital

Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha inaugurated the Cardio Care Unit at Dhalai District Hospital in Kulai on Wednesday.

While inaugurating the Cardio Care Unit, Chief Minister said, “Establishment of Cardio Care Unit at Dhalai District Hospital after GBP Hospital is a significant step in expansion of better health services in the state. Initiatives have also been taken to set up cardio care units in other districts of the state.”

Dhalai District Magistrate and Collector Dr. Siddharth Shiv Jaiswal, Dhalai Zilla Parishad Acting President Anadi Sarkar, Ambassa Municipal Council Vice Chairperson Gopal Sutradhar, Ambasa Panchayat Samiti Vice Chairman Arun Dev, Health and Family Welfare Department Director Dr. Supriya Mallik were present on the occasion.
Ambasa BAC Chairman Parimal Debbarma presided over the event.

Chief Minister Saha also said, “The government has taken various initiatives to improve the quality of health services in the state. The government is working towards making one Tripura a healthy Tripura.”

He said, “Providing better health services to the people of all parts of the state is one of the priority areas of the government. Those who are not covered under Ayushman Bharat Scheme will be brought under the Chief Minister Jan Arogya Yojana. For this, separate funds have been allocated in the budget.”
Addressing the health workers, the Chief Minister said, “Patients should be treated well. Health services should be brought closer to the people. The health system of Dhalai district has improved infrastructurally.”

On the occasion, the Chief Minister handed over the Best Ayushman Hospital certificate to the Dhalai District Hospital Authority.
