Biplab Kumar Deb Hon’ble Chief Minister, Tripura called on Shri Arun Jaitley, Hon’ble Union Finance Minister on 19th september,2018 in North Block, New Delhi to discuss various issues related to the State of Tripura.

During the meeting, Hon’ble Finance Minister of the overall financial position of the state. Hon’ble Chief Minister, Tripura also had a very fruitful and positive discussion with the Hon’ble Finance Minister on Funding of various development schemes/ projects in the state

Hon’ble Chief Minister, Tripura mentioned to the Hon’ble Finance Minister that NITI Aayog has made a recommendation to the Ministry of Finance for release of an amount of Rs 358.70 crore to the Government of Tripura under Special Plan Assistance for completion of  81 ongoing projects and requested the Hon’ble Finance Minister for early release of Fund.

Hon’ble Finance Minister assured the Hon’ble Chief Minister that the matter would be prompty looked into by the Ministry.

Hon’ble Chief Minister, Tripura also discussed the issue of Implementation of 7th CPC recommendations for the employees of the State Government and requested the Hon’ble Finance Minister to release the special ASSISTANCE OF RS 1500 crore to enable the state Government to fullfill the commitment made to the people of Tripura as per Vision Document.

Hon’ble Finance Minister gave a positive assurance in the matter to Hon’ble Chief Minister of  Tripura.
