Agartala, September 10: The Sadar District Congress Committee today submitted a deputation to the Agartala Municipal Corporation (AMC), demanding immediate steps to normalize essential services including electricity, gas, drainage, and drinking water supply in the municipal area.

Prior to submitting the deputation, Congress workers brought out a procession from the party office and gathered in front of the AMC headquarters.

Speaking on the occasion, the President of the Pradesh Youth Congress alleged that residents across the AMC area are suffering due to irregular civic services. He accused the corporation of failing to take necessary initiatives to maintain normal services.

State Congress spokesperson Prabir Chakraborty, along with other party leaders, was also present during the deputation.
