CPI leader D. RAJA and Others Detained and Released

To protest against the brutal murder of farmers in Lakhimpur Kheri, Uttar Pradesh and to demand action against murderers and resignation of Union Minister of State for Home Affairs Ajay Mishra.

CPI National Council members under the leadership of General Secretary Com. D. RAJA along with secretariat members including All India Kisan Sabha general secretary Com. Atul Kumar Anjaan and other leaders Binoy Viswam, MP, Amarjeet Kaur, General Secretary, AITUC, K. Narayana, Dr. Bhalchandra Kango, Annie Raja, General Secretary, NFIW, Girish Sharma, UP Party secretary and Dinesh Varshney, Delhi Party Secretary led a march from Ajoy Bhavan which was stopped by police at ITO chowk and all were arrested and later released.
