Centering the 2023 assembly elections, the main opposition party, CPIM will conduct a meeting to demonstrate their power on October 21 in Swami Vivekananda Stadium.
It is the perspective of political analysts of Tripura.
However, CPIM state secretary has a different perspective, which he revealed during the press conference at CPIM state office.
He said that CPIM had taken statewide initiatives to protect democracy, protect the constitution one and half months ago.
However, the ruling party remained unresponsive to these demands for which CPIM will conduct this mass meeting.
Chowdhury said that the public meeting will begin at 12pm noon in which the CPIM General Secretary Sitaram Yechuri will be the main speaker.
Moreover, former Chief Minister Manik Sarkar and many other left leaders will be present in the event.
While speaking in the press conference, Chowdhury alleged that the BJP government failed to provide employment to the youth of Tripura as well as carry out road construction works properly in the last four and half years.
He added that BJP has been forced to bring the President of India for inaugurating various development projects to hide their failure.
He also alleged that most of the inaugurated projects are not completed and old. Thus, virtual inauguration of these projects are baseless.
Chowdhury said that the pride and dignity related to the position of the President have been stained by involving the president in such activities.
