The meeting of CPIM Tripura State Committee was organized at the party Headquarters in Agartala on Tuesday.

CPIM General Secretary Sitaram Yechury, former Chief Minister Manik Sarkar, senior member Polit Bureau Prakash Karat, CPIM Tripura Secretary Jitendra Choudhury and various other members were present in the meeting.

Speaking to the media, Jitendra Chowdhury said, ”We are going to decide strategy for the upcoming assembly election in this meeting”.
He added that the members are going to announce the decisions taken in the State Committee Meeting on Wednesday at 11 am through a press conference.

It is to be noted that Assembly Elections in Tripura is going to be held by February second week.

According to the latest report, CPIM and Congress are going to fight jointly in this assembly election to remove Bharatiya Janata Party from power.
