An Air India Express flight faced significant disruption after a technical glitch developed just before departure. Flight 2892, carrying 81 passengers and scheduled to depart for Agartala, encountered the issue while on the ground at Bagdogra Airport.

According to passengers, they were kept seated inside the aircraft for nearly one and a half hours in sweltering heat, allegedly due to a non-functional air-conditioning system. As discomfort grew and passengers became agitated, the airline crew reportedly informed them that no alternative flight could be arranged.

Later, after airport authorities rectified the mechanical fault, the flight eventually proceeded to Agartala. However, passengers alleged further inconvenience upon arrival, claiming that the baggage handling process was poorly managed and several travelers were unable to properly retrieve their luggage.

It was also reported that one passenger from the Ramnagar area of Agartala, after failing to locate their baggage, did not board the flight to Agartala. Overall, passengers expressed strong dissatisfaction and frustration over the service provided by the airline during the entire episode.
