6 Tripureshwari Dance Music Festival in Tripurasundari temple premises had commenced since yesterday on the occasion of Diwali festival. organised by Rupakalpam Society, Udaipur with the sponsorship of Gomati district administration, Mata Tripurasundari Temple Trust. Chairman of Matabari Mela Committee and MLA Biplab Kumar Ghosh inaugurated the festival lighting the lamp.

Gomati Zila Parishad Sabhadhipati Swapan Adhikari, Gomati DM & Collector Ravel Hemendra Kumar, ICA Assistant Director Manoj Debbarma and other dignitaries were present in the programme.

At the beginning of the programme, the temple priest recited a Strot. MLA Biplab Kumar Ghosh hoped that the Mela would run smoothly and peacefully.

Zila Parishad Sabhadhipati Swapan Adhikari also hoped for a successful Mela and termed this Mela as a meeting ground of different communities. Well-known artist from Kolkata Manomoy Bhattacharjee also performed in the programme.
