Kanchanpur, Sunday: State Director General of Police (DGP) Shri Anurag on Sunday visited Kanchanpur to review the overall law and order situation in the Kanchanpur subdivision and assess security arrangements along the India–Bangladesh international border.

During his visit, the DGP inspected the Khanthalang BSF camp located along the international border, the headquarters of the 13th TSR Battalion at Subhashnagar, and the Bhangmun and Kanchanpur police stations.

The inspection aimed to evaluate preparedness and coordination among security forces in the sensitive border area.

The DGP was accompanied by North Tripura Superintendent of Police Avinash Rai, Sub-Divisional Police Officer Ashish Kumar, and other senior police officials.

While inspecting the Kanchanpur police station, Shri Anurag expressed satisfaction with the prevailing law and order situation in the subdivision. He stated that the police administration is performing its duties effectively and playing an appropriate role in maintaining peace and security in the area.
