The South District administration has entered the digital era with the launch of the “Jagrata Portal”. On Tuesday, District Magistrate Md. Sajjad P briefed journalists about the new initiative at the District Magistrate’s Conference Hall.
He informed that through this portal, citizens can now directly submit their complaints or problems to the district administration from home. Even incidents of employee harassment in any office can be reported through the platform. The administration has assured that effective responses will be provided within just 15 days.
The portal was inaugurated by Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha during his recent visit to Sabroom. Alongside, a Support Center was also opened at the District Magistrate’s office, where citizens will receive training on how to use the portal.
District Magistrate Md. Sajjad P urged all residents to make active use of the Jagrata Portal to strengthen communication and cooperation between the public and the administration.
