Sabroom, November 4: Sub-Divisional Police Officer (SDPO) Nityananda Sarkar conducted a surprise inspection in the Sabroom market area around 4 p.m. on Monday to ensure smooth traffic movement.
It has been reported that frequent parking of battery-powered autos in the market area often leads to traffic congestion, causing inconvenience to both pedestrians and traders. Shopkeepers have also complained that auto drivers often park their vehicles along the roadside and in front of shops, disrupting business activities.
To bring the situation under control, the SDPO personally visited the market and directed the removal of autos parked in restricted areas. He also warned that strict action would be taken if necessary to maintain order and ensure a congestion-free market environment.
