Distribution programme of 200 layer birds in Longthurai Valley under CMSPY
With the initiative of Animal Resources Development Department, a distribution programme of 200 layer birds was held on December 201 in the office premise of Mamu RD Block, Longthara Valley under Chief Minister Swamirblar Parivar Yojana for the financial year 2021-22.
The distribution programme was organised by Longtharai Valley Sub-divisional Veterenary Hospital, TTAADC. MLA and Chairman of Manu Block Advisory Committee Diba Chandra Hrangkhawl, Block Development Officer Panmal Majumder, Veterinary Officer Dr. Biplab Debbarma and local socialist Dharbabu Tripura.
20 beneficiaries of West Jamircherma Village Committee of the block were handed over 10 layer birds each along with food and cage at 860 rupees per unit by the dignitaries present in the programme.
Besides that, a total target of 1048 beneficiaries of 11 Village Committees under Manu RD Block shall be covered under the same scheme for the financial year 2021-22 as per the project plam. It has been informed that among these beneficiaries.
186 beneficiaries will be given assistance for pig rearing, 93 for goat rearing, 6100 for poultry rearing and 159 beneficiaries will be given assistance for duckling rearing with the objective being generation of income opporturities of the less privileged inhabitants of rural and hillock areas of TTAADC region in Dhalai district.
