Drinking water connection given to 21 thousand 407 houses in Jirania subdivision

Under Jal Jeevan Mission drinking water connection will be provided in Jirania sub-division. Already drinking water connections have been provided to 21 thousand 407 houses in the sub- division.

Out of this 8 thousand 633 houses in Jirania block, 5 thousand 49 houses in Belbari block, 7 thousand 725 houses in Old Agartala block have been given drinking water connection. Morcover, 12 deep tube-wells, 5 iron removal plants in Jirania block, 2 deep tube-wells and 3 iron removal plants in Belbari block, 12 deep tube-wells and 3 iron removal plants in Old Agartala block have been installed to solve the problem of drinking water.
