Drinking water connection is being given every house of different hlocks under Jirania sub-division under Atal Jaldhara Mission.

So far, clean drinking water connection has been provided to 7 thousand 156 families of Jirania block, 4 thousand 149 families of Belbon block, 5 thousand 315 families of Old Agartala block.

Besides that, 5 deep tube wells and 8. min deep tube wells are being installed to meet the demand for water in Jirania block. 7 new iron removal plant are being set up in Jirania block.

1 iron removal plant has already been set up in Old Agartala block and 2 more plants are being set up. 1 ton removal plant is being set up in Belbari block. This was informed by Drinking Water & Sanitation, Jirania sub divisional office.
