Jal Jeevan Mission has provided drinking water connection to 4,58,364 houses in rural areas of the state till last fiscal year. In this mission, from March 1 to March 31, drinking water connections were provided to 16,865 houses in rural areas of the state.
Among them, 725 houses were provided in North Tripura district, 1306 houses in Unakoti district, 3270 houses in Dhalai district, 2109 houses in Khowai district, 1463 houses in West Tripura district, 3585 houses in Sepahijala district, 2137 houses in Gomati district and 2270 houses in South Tripura district.
