Former President of Trinamool Congress Pijush Kanti Biswas returned to Congress today.

Biswas who is a lawyer by profession was appointed as the Tripura TMC president few days before the 2023 assembly polls.

Piyush Biswas returned to Congress. Earlier he resigned from the post of Congress president and formed a new party. After that he joined Trinamool Congress.

He became Trinamool president. After that he resigned from Trinamool. He returned to his old home today. On Monday in Delhi, he joined the Congress Party in the presence of AICC organizing secretary KC Benugopal.
