False Propaganda by certain vested interests regarding BSNL closer
Certain recent reports in some sections of the media are conveying an impression that BSNL may be closed down.

The reports of BSNL closing down are baseless and false.On the contrary Government of India recognizes BSNL as a stratagic PSU serving vital organizations like Defence, Ministry of Finance etc BSNL is also serving all public and private banks in the country.

Department of Telecommunications, Government of India values the inherent strength of BSNL as a telecom provider with huge infrastructure and reach including rural areas.

Shri Asheesh Pathak, GMTD, BSNL informed that BSNL is committed to serve its customrrs and is making all efforts to upgrade the mobile network, Bharat Fibre also launched new services like Wings, Satellite phones etc
