Former Chief Minister Manik Sarkar is campaigning for CPIM candidate Krishna Majumder in the 6-Agartala constituency for ensuing by-election.

Manik Sarkar has visited various houses of Abhaynagar area under Agartala constituency as a part of the house to house campaign on Friday.

He requested people to give votes for CPIM.
He spoke with people of every house while campaigning for the candidate Krishna Majumder. Krishna Majumder, some CPIM leaders and supporters were also present during campaigning.

While responding to reporters, Manik Sarkar said that people have complained about high prices of commodities and scarcity of goods in ration shops.
