Dharmanagar, Nov 7: A four-hour sit-in demonstration was held in Dharmanagar on Thursday to press for seven key demands.

The protest was organized jointly by the Youth Congress, NSUI, Mahila Congress, and Seva Dal at the foot of the statue of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose in Dharmanagar city.

The program, organized under the instructions of the Pradesh Congress Committee, witnessed participation from workers and leaders of various branches, including the North District Congress leadership.

The demonstrators raised their voices over issues concerning public interest and urged the government to address their demands at the earliest.
