TIPRA Motha Party has filed an official complaint with the State Election Commission of Tripura against Mr. Bikash Debbarma, Minister in the Government of Tripura, for violating the Model Code of Conduct.

The complaint concerns his recent statement claiming that votes cast in favour of TIPRA Motha Party would be transferred to the BJP, as well as widely circulating media reports of misuse of government resources for election campaign activities.

According to the complaint, the minister recently made a controversial statement claiming that votes cast in favour of TIPRA Motha would ultimately be transferred to the BJP.

The party has termed the remark as misleading and an attempt to influence voters.
In addition, TIPRA Motha has raised concerns over widely circulating media reports alleging misuse of government resources for election campaign activities.

The party has urged the Election Commission to take immediate action and ensure a free and fair electoral process.
The State Election Commission is yet to issue an official response regarding the matter.
