State Government is working on priority for the welfare of people of all sections of caste. The government is implementing various programs with the aim of making One Tripura a better Tripura.

If the state is to be developed, development cannot be done without excluding the OBC community. OBC Welfare Minister Santana Chakma said this at the ceremony of providing modern machinery to 100 rubber farmers after training by OBC Corporation at Nalchar Dasmighat today.

Inaugurating the program, OBC Welfare Minister Santana Chakma further said that the state and central governments are continuing to take the country and the state forward. The state government is working to develop the rubber industry. Efforts are being made to open more factories in the state to make various furniture from rubber wood.

In the event, 100 rubber farmers of Nalchar block were given modern machinery after 30 days of training. This training camp was held at Mayarani, Takspara, Bagabasa etc. in the block area. On the occasion, MLA Kishore Barman said that Tripura ranks second in rubber production in the country. How to bring tripura in the first place, the government is working on that initiative.
