Prati Ghare Sushasan (Good governance) campaign is underway to ensure that the benefits of central and state government schemes reach the marginalized sections of the society to meet the basic needs of the people.

State Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha said this while inaugurating the 2-day long Gomati district based governance fair at Udaipur Rajarshi Hall on Monday.

He added that the campaign will continue till December 25.

He said that the government is working to build a self-reliant Tripura through the development of everyone.

He added that previously government grants were not directly credited to beneficiaries’ accounts, but currently government benefits are directly paid into the account of beneficiaries.

CM said that the state government is extending the benefits of government projects to the last person of the society by maintaining transparency, which never happened before.

He also said that the number of self-help women groups has now increased.
He added that provision has been made for reservation of 33 percent seats for women in government jobs.
