On the eve of Durga puja , the Government has decided to provide two mandays to 3.26 lakh families, which will benefit 42% of rural population.

For this, the Government will have to spend Rs 11.55 cr.

Dy Chief Minister Jishnu Dev Verma said this would benefit poor families ahead of Durga Puja .

Dev Verma further said TSECL board has decided to increase compensation cap  from 3 lakh to Rs 10 lakh to its employee.

Dev Verma also said MGNREGA works are going in full pace as it has generated 82.88 person days. MGNREGA is in process in all the 58 blocks of the state .
