The hanging body of a female student was found in the girls hostel of Tripura Sports School on Tuesday morning.
The name of the deceased student is Supriya Debnath. She was a student of class 10.
According to the report, the girl committed suicide by hanging herself in her hostel.
Police of West Agartala Women Police Station and AD Nagar Police Station rushed to the spot after receiving the information.
The family members alleged that she was killed and hanged, as they believe she could not commit suicide.
Police said that they are investigating the matter. Meanwhile, the incident has erupted significant panic in the entire area.
