In support of the West Tripura Lok Sabha candidate Biplab Kumar Deb, the Bamutia mandal of the Bharatiya Janata Party organized a Mega gathering and executive meeting at Bamutia on Friday.

Apart from candidate and former Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb, state BJP president Rajib Bhattacharjee and several local leaders were also present in this conference.

Speaking at this gathering which was crowded, the speakers highlighted the context of the CPM era.

Biplab Kumar Deb, the candidate for the West Tripura Lok Sabha seat said, “I did not see Manik Sarkar walking in the procession on the day when the Congress submitted the nomination papers. I believe that Manik Sarkar, a member of the CPIM Politburo, will not vote for the Congress sign.”

Biplab Kumar Dev also said that Congress and CPM are going through a tough time in Tripura.
