Inauguration of newly constructed two-storied building of Dwarikapur High School

If the education system of the country is improved, the future of the students will be better. This will be useful in building the country in the coming days. The main objective of the new National Education Policy launched by the Central Government is to ensure overall development of the education system. Union Minister of State for Education Dr. Rajkumar Ranjan Singh said this while inaugurating the newly constructed two-storied building of Dwarikapur High School in Kalyanpur of Khowai district yesterday. MLA Prashanta Debbarma, MLA Pinaki Das Chowdhury, District Magistrate DK Chakma, Joint Director of Elementary Education Bipul Das and others were present on the occasion. 1 crore 26 lakh 24 thousand 946 rupees has been spent on the construction of this school.

Union Minister of State for Education Dr. Rajkumar Ranjan Singh said that the central and state governments are working hard to make the country best in the world. The students of this area will benefit from the construction of this school building. He said that the new National Education Policy has been launched with a focus on providing classrooms, drinking water, toilets, self-defence training for girls in schools. The government is working to improve the infrastructure of different schools in the rural areas of the country and to develop talent of the students.

MLA Pinaki Das Chowdhury said on the occasion that Dwarikapur High School was established in 1956. No steps were taken to improve the school infrastructure during the previous government. Other guests present on the occasion also discussed various schemes of the state and central government for the development of the education system. District Education Officer Mihir Debnath delivered the welcome address. Kalyanpur Panchayat Samiti Chairman Somen Gope presided over the programme.
