Review meeting held on central flagship schemes in Khowai

A review meeting presided over by Union Minister of State for External Affairs and Education Dr. Rajkumar Ranjan Singh was held in Khowai district on central flagship schemes. Sabhadhipati of Khowai Zilla Parishad Joydeb Debbarma, Khowai DM & Collector Dilip Kumar Chakma, Additional DM Subhash Chandra Saha, Teliamura and Khowai SDMs Abhijit Chakraborty and Bijoy Sinha, BDOs of different blocks of the district and district level officials of Drinking Water & Sanitation, Agriculture & Farmers Welfare and Health department were present in the meeting. Minister of State for External Affairs and Education said, the central flagship schemes are playing significant role in the development of rural areas of the country.

Panchayat and government officials have to work in coordination to implement central flagship schemes. He emphasized upon training young jobless boys and girls under Deen Dayal Upadhyay Gramin Kaushal Yojana. Different central flagship schemes such as National Education Policy, Jal Jeevan Mission, PM-KISAN, Saubhagya Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Krishi Sinchayce Yojana, Ayushman Bharat, central pension scheme, e-Shram card, Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana and Deen Dayal Upadhyay Gramin Kaushal Yojana were discussed in the review meeting.

The Union Minister of State then enquired about the progress of implementation of all kinds of schemes and Yojana in the district. The Union Minister of State interacted with district level officials on central flagship schemes in the review meeting.
