Jiban Krishan; The man who has kept 90s alive music from North-East India

With Vocally a Booming Voice and Bags of character in his tone, Jiban Krishan, an Indian musical artist and playback singer from the land of Tripura has been rocking the stage with his melody keeping alive the Evergreen 90’s.

Born in the year 1971, a resident of Bishalgarh Office Tilla area, Jiban Krishan did his academics from the Office Tilla School and later from Ramthakur College in Agartala. Jiban Krishan developed his love for music from his very childhood but could never pursue any such musical training at that time because of financial drawbacks. Listening to the songs of famous singers like Anup Jalota, Pankaj Udhas and many more artists, Jiban Krishan started learning singing and developed an immense love for Music. In the year 1985 Jiban Krishan evolved a major fondness for “Kumar Sanu”, one of the most prolific singers in the Indian Film Industry and started singing his songs at various small programs.

With few friends Jiban Krishan formed his 1st Musical Group called “Sur Sangam” and started to perform in various programs across the state. In early 90’s Jiban Krishan formed the renowned Orchestra group namely “Shiv Shakti” that came as a turning point in his career. With immense growing fan base, Jiban Krishan grabbed his place in the hearts of many. His melodious voice singing the songs sung by Kumar Sanu became famous in Tripura.

From the year 2001 Jiban Krishan has sung for various albums that has been released by state based or outside state based production houses.

Jiban Krishan’s voice and singing style are heavily influenced by singer Kumar Sanu, and that made him famous for thousands of common people. Jiban Krishan is till date known for keeping alive these 90s songs that we are often hear enough by his jaw dropping voice and melody.
