A development meeting was held at Panchayat Samiti Hall on Monday in Kumarghat block under the Prati Ghare Sushasan campaign.

Labour Minister Bhagwan Chandra Das, Chairman of Kumarghat Panchayat Samiti Happy Das, Vice Chairman Debabrata Dutta, Chairman of Kumarghat BAC Tapanjoy Reang, District Magistrate of Unkoti district UK Chakma, and several other representatives of various departments were present in the meeting.

In the meeting, Labour Minister Bhagwan Chandra Das said that there was a time when people had to go to the government to get various government benefits.

He said that now the situation has changed, as the administration is going to the people to provide the benefits of various government projects to the people.

He added that the Prati Ghare Sushasan (good governance in every house) program has been undertaken to make this process more organised.

Labour Minister also said that most of the people of Tripura live in rural areas.
He said that most of the people from different ethnic groups live in the ADC area and many of them are not aware about the various public welfare schemes of the central and state government.

He called upon all concerned officials to make the people of this section aware of the projects and play a role in providing them several benefits of the project.
